New inform on Bridging the digital divide in legal migration procedures

A new European Migration Network (EMN) inform explores the accessibility of digital services used in legal migration procedures and ways to make them more accessible to applicants with disabilities and those with limited digital skills.

The inform “Bridging the digital divide – digital services in legal migration procedures for accessibility and inclusion” draws on contributions from 25 EMN Member and Observer Countries. It examines how digital services in legal migration procedures are designed and delivered, what tools and forms of support are available to applicants, and what challenges countries face in ensuring accessibility. It also highlights good practices, including combining digital services with in-person support and introducing tools designed to improve accessibility.
