EMN publishes Asylum and Migration Overview 2025

The European Migration Network (EMN) has published the Asylum and Migration Overview 2025, providing a comprehensive overview of the main legal, policy and operational developments in the field of asylum and migration across EMN Member and Observer Countries during 2025.

The overview covers key developments in legal migration, international protection, migration management, integration, the protection of vulnerable groups and international cooperation. It also highlights significant developments in 2025, including the launch of the Entry/Exit System (EES) and the 40th anniversary of the Schengen Agreement.

The AMO 2025 publication package also includes a statistical annex and the National Contribution of the Czech Republic, available in both Czech and English. The overview is based on contributions from EMN National Contact Points and European-level sources, including Eurostat.
