Destination Europe
Destination Europe is an interactive educational tool on migration and integration, developed in cooperation with migration experts from various European countries associated within the European Migration Network.
Through a role-play game for 4–6 players (aged 16+), it simulates decision-making on migration policies at the level of the EU, national governments, and local authorities, and demonstrates how these decisions can affect different groups of migrants as well as society as a whole. The tool fosters critical thinking, discussion, and a deeper understanding of the complex aspects of migration and integration.
Who is the tool intended for?
It is designed for teachers, students, and anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of migration decision-making processes.

We invite you to an interactive Destination Europe seminar designed for university students and senior secondary school students. The programme begins with a short introduction to the Ministry of the Interior and the activities of the EMN, followed by the simulation itself.
Students will take part in the Destination Europe interactive tool, stepping into the roles of different actors and exploring the challenges and impacts of migration policy through concrete scenarios.
This is followed by a joint discussion, where participants share their conclusions, exchange arguments, and reflect on the decisions made.
The seminar lasts approximately 4 hours and takes place at the premises of the Ministry of the Interior.
